Fiscal
Responsibility
Evan strongly believes that people are willing to be taxed as long
as they see a return on what they pay.
The people of
Troy
and
Clawson
want good
schools, safe neighborhoods and a place they can proudly call home.
It is the responsibility of our legislatures to make sure the
hard earned tax dollars of their constituents are going to good use.
The allocation of funds toward education, police & fire, and bringing
jobs to
Southeast Michigan
are of the utmost importance.
Evan’s opponent talks about limiting the size of government.
Although that may seem attractive to the local taxpayer it is
actually deceiving. In
2007,
Troy
was named among the top ten safest cities in the
United States.
This feat could never be accomplished if we cut funding for
government programs.
Instead of limiting government we must elect a person who will put
our tax revenues to good use.
As State Representative, Evan promises to allocate monies
appropriately toward the causes that directly effect the people of
Troy
and
Clawson.
